WILDHORSE WINS PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD
Mission, OR – Though not located in the Tri-Cities, the close proximity of Wildhorse Resort & Casino to the Pasco, Kennewick and Richland areas in Washington made it a contender, and the eventual winner, of the 2020 People’s Choice Award for Best Casino.
The annual survey of residents of the tri-city area is coordinated by the Tri-City Herald and includes categories for local favorites like Best Burger, Best Annual Community Event, Best Grocery Store, and Best Non-Profit.
With voting starting in February, 2020 was a particularly tough year to impress visitors when Wildhorse, along with most businesses, had to close their doors.
CEO Gary George reflected on the reason for the award. “I think our dedication and attention to our guests and employees during the pandemic was a positive influence on voters,” George said. “I think our guests know how much we care about them and what lengths we’ll go to to keep them safe and happy.”
